BRICK, NJ -- Burger 25, a popular burger establishment, has embarked on an expansion venture in partnership with Icarus Brewing. This strategic move follows Icarus Brewing's relocation plans to Brick Township. Owners Steve and Denise Vetter expressed their interest in the expansion opportunity, culminating in a formal agreement with the brewery.
The Vetters revealed their plans for a new location through a festive announcement on the restaurant's Facebook page on Christmas morning. The post highlighted the excitement surrounding the expansion and their collaboration with Icarus Brewing, hinting at a Spring 2024 opening.
Icarus Brewing, currently establishing its new premises at the former Shore Restaurant Supply site on Route 88, gained the Brick Township Planning Board's approval for the project in August 2021. The brewery's 20,000-square-foot building will include a designated area for a food vendor, a necessity due to New Jersey's microbrewery regulations.
Burger 25 has secured a 4,000-square-foot space within the Icarus Brewing facility. This initiative aligns with the Vetters' goal to expand their business footprint. "We definitely wanted to expand to another location and thought Icarus would be perfect," Steve Vetter remarked, acknowledging their long-standing interest in Icarus's expansion plans.
The collaboration marks a significant step for both entities, promising to enhance the culinary and brewery scene in Brick Township.
