Srinagar, Jan 13: A delegation from the Jammu and Kashmir Cold Chain Association (JKPICCA), led by President Ejaz Qureshi, convened a crucial meeting with the Chief Secretary at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu today.
A statement said that senior members of the Cold Chain Association were also present during this significant meeting.
The primary focus of the meeting was to address pressing issues related to the ease of doing business and the formulation of government-friendly policies that would contribute to the expansion of cold storage capacities for farmers. The delegation engaged in constructive discussions, emphasising the importance of fostering an environment conducive to agricultural growth and sustainability.
President Ejaz Qureshi expressed optimism about the collaborative efforts between the JKPICCA and the government, envisioning a future where enhanced storage capacities would empower farmers and contribute to the overall development of the agricultural sector in the region.
